Following the JRR Team’s first Top 25 of 2008 Robert Richardson JR. Charges into Las Vegas with the #4 JVC Ruby Red Gem Colored Everio Chevy

MONROE, NC - (March 1, 2008) - Jay Robinson Racing announces that sponsor JVC will be the primary sponsor on the #4 Chevy for the third straight Nationwide Series race at Las Vegas Speedway.  Coming off Robert Richardson Jr.’s top 25 run on Monday in California, the JRR team is ready to get the #4 JVC Chevy back on the track and raining in the Sam’s Town 300. Robert did not participate in the 2007 Las Vegas race or the 2008 practice, so this will be his first time on the track during a Nationwide series event in Vegas. The Sam’s Town 300 is the 3rd race of 2008 Nationwide Series Season and all of them with Richardson behind the wheel of the #4 JVC Chevy. Driver Robert Richardson stated, “I am looking forward to competing on the Vegas Speedway for the first time in this series and I am optimistic about building on the top 25 in California finish for our sponsor JVC. This season is off to a good start, I love racing and definitely stay busy on the road, thankfully I have the JVC Ruby Red Gem colored Everio camera with me to capture these memories of the 2008 Season.”

Team owner Jay Robinson said, "We need to continue the effort from last weekend in California, stay focused and go out there and run a good race. I have been pleased so far with Robert’s effort and we expect to go out and finish well for JVC this week in Las Vegas." The Sam’s Town 300 is JVC’s 3rd of f5 primary races to be sponsored on the #4 in 2008. JVC will also be an associate for the remainder of the year and run the Ruby Red Gem color scheme at ORP and the first Charlotte race on the Nationwide tour. “California was a long weekend, but ended in a positive way for the #4 JVC Chevy. We are excited to be teaming up with JRR in Vegas for the Sam’s Town 300 and extremely happy with our early exposure in the sport of NASCAR,” said Karl Bearnarth, senior vice president, marketing, JVC Company of America.
