Driver returns to home town to meet with fans

(China Grove, NC) March 28, 2009 - Striving to push and pull in more race fans, Mahindra USA is giving race fans a chance for a personal look into their favorite sport. Mahindra USA is taking its primary sponsorship of the No. 23 Mahindra Tractors car directly to the consumer with an all-access meet and greet at a local Mahindra dealership.

In conjunction with race weekend at the Texas Motor Speedway, Mahindra USA will be having a meet and greet with Robert Richardson, Jr., the driver of the No. 23 Mahindra Tractors car. Along with getting the chance for autographs and pictures, fans will be able to get up close and personal with the actual No. 23 Mahindra USA car from the 2009 Daytona 500.

"Mahindra USA is taking a new approach to activating its sponsorship of the No. 23 R3 Motorsports car," said Mike Hilderbrand, Vice President- Marketing and Organizational Development. "We want to directly impact race fans and give them exactly what they really want - the chance to be a part of the action. After all, this sport is all about the fans."

The meet and greet and show car appearance will be taking place at Landmark Equipment on 3774 N. Central Expressway in McKinney, Texas from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, April 3.
