Preview: Richardson to run for U.S. Border Patrol in Dover

MONROE, NC - (May 30, 2007)

Jay Robinson Racing announced today that rookie sensation Robert Richardson Jr. will be driving the #28 U.S. Border Patrol Chevy in this weeks NASCAR Busch Series Dover 200 at Dover International Speedway. This will be Robert's first ever run at Dover in a Busch Series Car and his first race in association with new sponsor, U.S. Border Patrol. The event will be the third race of the U.S. Border Patrol's twenty-five race sponsorship package. "I am looking to run a clean competitive race and keep us in our lock position. I am honored to be behind the wheel of the #28 U.S. Border Patrol Chevy in Dover. Race fans should take a look at the excellent job opportunities the U.S Border Patrol has to offer and check out The Border Patrol Hiring Event Display located in the midway behind the main grandstand at the Speedway" said Robert Richardson Jr. Team owner Jay Robinson said, "Robert is working hard and doing what needs to be done for his continued growth as a driver. I have been very pleased with his dedication and effort both on and off the track." Qualifying is Saturday, June 2, 11:05am est. and the Dover 200 starts at 3 pm est. on ESPN2. ESPN2 will also have live coverage of practice and qualifying. Appearances this week by Robert Richardson Jr. will include; 1290AM Sports Radio - The Ticket at 2:30 pm est. on Wednesday May 30th, ESPN Radio at 11:25am est. and live trackside with 92.9 FM at 9:15 pm est. on Friday June 1st .  On Sunday Robert will be doing a live T.V. appearance on Charlotte’s Fox Network Affiliate at 6:00 pm est.

This week joining Car 28 as Associate Sponsors will be Checkers / Rally’s, Bay Resorts of Dewey Beach, CMO Music, Smith Transport and Maradyne Fans.
