Preview: #28 Checkers/Rally's - U.S. Border Patrol Chevy Resumes Effort in the Meijer 300 at Kentucky Speedway

MONROE, NC - (June 14, 2007) - Jay Robinson Racing announces that Checkers/Rally's, the Official Burger and Drive-Thru Restaurant of NASCAR  since 2005, will be the primary Sponsor on the #28 Chevy for the NASCAR Busch Series Meijer 300 at Kentucky Speedway. Checkers Drive-In Restaurants, Inc. is the Nations largest double drive-thru restaurant chain and parent company of both Checkers and Rally's. There are more than 800 Checkers and Rally's restaurants across the country. The U.S. Border Patrol will continue its’ sponsorship exposure as the major associate sponsor on the # 28 Chevy. Kentucky marks the seventh race as primary out of the eleven race primary package that Checkers/Rally's signed earlier this year. The event will be the fifth of the U.S. Border Patrol's twenty-five race deal.

There are currently forty-three entries into Saturday nights Meijer 300 at Kentucky Speedway. ESPN2 will feature NASCAR Busch Series racing live Saturday, June 16, from Kentucky Speedway as the Series makes its only appearance of 2007 at the 1.5-mile track in Sparta, Ky., near Cincinnati. The telecast begins with NASCAR Countdown at 8 p.m. EST; the 300-mile race starts at 8:30 p.m. ESPN2 will also have live coverage of qualifying from Kentucky Speedway as well as the series’ final practice session as drivers and teams prepare for Saturday night’s 300-mile race. Practice coverage will air at 5 p.m. EST Friday, with the live qualifying show airing at 5 p.m.

Rookie Robert Richardson Jr. fired up and ready to man the wheel of the #28 Checkers/Rally's - U.S. Border Patrol Chevy. "I am fired up and ready to go racing this week in Ketucky and I am glad to be driving the Checkers/Rally's #28 in the Meijer 300. I have had some experience on the track in other racing circuits here in Kentucky and feel very comfortable in the car we are bringing to the track. I need to go out do my job as a driver and make all of it translate into a good finish" said Robert Richardson Jr.

Team owner Jay Robinson said, "Robert has done a good job staying competitive and keeping us in our locked position. I have been pleased so far with his effort, and we expect to go out and finish well for Checkers/Rally's and the U.S. Border Patrol."

The U.S. Border Patrol will have information booths trackside all race weekend looking to NASCAR fans for their new hiring push.

This week joining Car 28 as Associate Sponsors will be CMO Music and Smith Transport.
