Brooklyn, Michigan (August 15,2009)- Robert Richardson Jr. finished 24th in Saturday's Carfax 250 in the #23 Mahindra Tractors chevy. RRjr and R3 Motorsports were pleased with their finish after a hard day of racing and unfortunate loss of laps due to pitting under green, only to have the caution flag fly while on pit road putting the team a lap down. They fought a tight race car but worked hard all day to find the setup that worked best.

Driver: Robert Richardson Jr.
"These boys worked real hard all day to get the car to handle the way we needed it to. We had a little bad luck with losing laps, but we kept fighting and ended with a good finish which we need."

Crew Chief: Steve Plattenberger
"We had a great car and we were excited to be in the Irish Hills with Robert Jr. back in the car! We fought with a tight race car here and there but we made adjustments and dialed the #30 chassis in. Overall we did what we came to do, have a good solid run and stay in the top 30 in points."

Brad Keselowski was the winner of the Carfax 250 at Michigan International speedway. This is his third time to victory lane in the 2009 season. There were 4 cautions for 21 laps and 16 lead changes among 6 leaders.

Robert Richardson Jr's next race will come at Atlanta Motor Speedway. ESPN will provide television coverage of the event on Saturday, September 5th.
