MONROE, NC - (August 15, 2007) - Jay Robinson Racing announced today that Rookie Sensation Robert Richardson Jr. will be behind the wheel of the #28 Checkers/Rally’s - U.S. Border Patrol Chevy in Memphis this coming weekend for the NASCAR Busch Series Sam’s Town 250. Robert and the #28 JRR Team is involved with St. Jude Children’s Hospital Design a Dream program for the Memphis Motorsports Park race this coming weekend. The Car #28 Chevy will be sporting a new paint scheme that was designed by St. Jude’s patient Paul. Thursday before the race Robert Richardson Jr. will be making a special stop at St. Jude on Thursday to tour the hospital, meet Paul and all the other patients as well.

ESPN2 will have live coverage of the Busch Series race from Memphis Motorsports Park starting at 3:30pm/et, Saturday, October 27, 2007. Live Qualifying coverage will also be aired on ESPN2 on Saturday, October 27, 10:35am/et. Practice sessions will be on Friday, October 26, 3:00-4:00pm/et & 5:00-6:00pm/et, Rookie practice, 4:30-5:00pm/et.
This week joining Car 28 as Associate Sponsors will be the U.S. Border Patrol, Smith Transport and CMO Music. The U.S. Border Patrol will be the major associate sponsor and will have their Hiring information booth trackside at Memphis Motorsports Park Saturday as they march toward hiring 6,000 new agents in the next two years.
