Memphis History: Robert Richardson Jr. will be making his second start at Memphis Motorsports Park this weekend.  His first start at the .750-mile oval came in 2007 when he started 42nd and went on to finish 31st. 

Richardson’s Last Race: Richardson last piloted the Mahindra Tractors Chevy at Kansas Speedway in the Kansas Lottery 300.  Richardson started 31st and was able to fight his way to a 22nd-place finish. 

NASCAR Foundation Track Walk:  Join Robert Richardson Jr. in the NASCAR Foundation track walk at 11:00 a.m. CT on Saturday, October 24th at Memphis Motorsports Park.  All proceeds will benefit the NASCAR Foundation and Susan G. Komen.  Fans can register for the walk online or at the track. 

Meet Robert Richardson Jr.:  Come meet Robert Richardson Jr. on Friday, October 23rd from 5:15 p.m. – 6:15 p.m. CT on the front stretch of Memphis Motorsports Park.  Richardson will be signing autographs along with several other NASCAR Nationwide Series drivers. 

Robert Richardson Jr. Fast Fact:  Richardson is a huge Elvis Presley fan.  His favorite Elvis songs are “American Trilogy,” “A Little Less Conversation” and “If I Can Dream.”  One of the places Richardson looks forward to visiting the most while in Memphis is Graceland.

Points Check: R3 Motorsports sits 26th in the 2009 NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) Owner Standings, only 8 markers behind 25th.

Chassis Info: No. 23 Mahindra Tractors Chevrolet (NNS):  Chassis #37.  Plattenberger and the No. 23 team are bringing chassis #37 to Memphis Motorsports Park this weekend. This chassis was last used at Richmond International Raceway when Richardson started 37th and finished 28th.
