MONROE, NC - (November 1, 2007) - Jay Robinson Racing announces that The U.S. Border Patrol will be back as the primary sponsor once again on the #28 Chevy for the NASCAR Busch Series O’Reilly Challenge in Texas. The U.S. Border Patrol will continue it's efforts on the track with Rookie Robert Richardson Jr. behind the wheel. The U.S Border Patrol Hiring Booths will be trackside at the Midway and will be open to the public all race weekend. As they march toward the goal of hiring 6,000 new agents in the next two years The U.S. Border Patrol's NOW Hiring information booths continue to be a trackside hot spot and an interest to NASCAR fans and job-seekers.
Rookie Robert Richardson Jr. will be back behind the wheel of the #28 U.S. Border Patrol Chevy for the first time at Texas Motor Speedway. Robert hopes to build on the momentum he established last week in Memphis. "I am excited to have the chance to be back driving the #28 U.S. Border Patrol Chevy. This is a big race for the U.S. Border Patrol and I am looking forward to a great race weekend." said Robert Richardson Jr.
Practice sessions will be on Friday, November 2, 10:00-11:00am/est. & 11:55am-12:55pm/est, Rookie practice 11:10-11:40am/est. Qualifying is Friday, November 2, 6:35pm/est. The O’Reilly Challenge race coverage starts at 3:30pm/est, Saturday
November 3, 2007 on ESPN2. ESPN2 will also have live qualifying coverage.
